Advice to the new owner of Ulley Hall on the conservation and repair of the lime ash floors on the first and second floors

We were happy to advise the owner of Ulley Hall on the conservation and repair of the lime ash floors on the first and second floors at this fine Georgian House. Described by Pevsner as a handsome five bayed house, with three dormers, dating to 1718. The Hall gateway has the entwined initials of John and Rebekah Clarke. The lime concrete floors supported off wide riven laths provided fire proofing, sound deadening and security for goods, associated with business of the building’s former owners.
