Clay Poutice Testing

Successful use of Womersleys Ltd clay poultices at Ledston Hall, applied by Ornate Interiors: M Womersleys have been monitoring the reduction in salt contamination being achieved in the walls of Ledston Hall, which is currently being restored. Informed by the semi quantitative analysis of samples taken on site in June, we were able to report that the poultice applied over two phases so far, has substantially reduced heavy salt loads that were present in the stone.
